Digital image of a document including a number of short treatises on the topic of sayyidhood, whose contents closely match those of the preceding documents. The document concludes with a genealogy of the Prophet Muḥammad and the imams, continuing through the figure of Shāh Malang down to a certain Sayyid Karam Shāh. It would appear that the subject of this genealogy is related to that of documents BMP025-027, as there are some close parallels in their genealogies. | Four identical seals are present at the bottom right bearing the name of Zamān al-Dīn, dated 1262 (1846)., The original document includes a floral design on the top., Location: Shitam, Ghund., Incipit: Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim al-Hamdulillah al-Dhihi An-Allah Istfi Adam wa Nuha wa al-Ibrahim wa al-Imran Ali Al-Alamin, Zarit al-Zamān al-Bazām, Walallah Sami Alaihim, Explicit: And his son Sayyid Miranshah and his son Sayyid Miranshah Akbarshah and his son Sayyed Shekarshah and his son Sayyed Karam Shah and his son Sayyed Nusrat Shah and his son Sayyed Karamshah, The document is a scroll in fair condition. There is significant tearing and fraying along the edges and the paper has been repaired with tape in several places. However, this rarely affects the legibility of the text. The document is written in a fine hand with rubrications. The last several words in the text are written in a different hand, evidently that of Karam Shāh., Badakhshan Manuscript Project.
