Notes This document appears to be an earlier draft of the same document in BMP058, written in the same hand. Following the end of the third page there is a break in the text, following which the same fragment beginning with "Sayyid Muḥammad had three sons" begins on page four. This new text ends at the bottom of page five and the previous text resumes at the top of page six. The genealogy concludes with the figure of ʿInāyat Shāh at the bottom of page seven. Following this name, a number of names are partially written and scratched out. The genealogy is then continued in a different hand on page eight, beginning with Sayyid Shāh Manṣūr and ending with Sayyid Dawrān Shāh. | Incipit: Bismillah al-Rahman al-Ham [sic] This is a dedication letter to His Highness, Maab Mortazavi al-Aktsab Zubadah Ta and Al Yass wa Marwa Olad Hazrat Seyyed Al Mursalin Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa, Explicit: The son of Sayyed Shah Mansoor, the son of Sayyed Ibat Shah, the son of Sayyed Doran Shah, This document is written in the same hand and on the same type of paper as BMP058. It appears to be an earlier draft of the latter, as there are a number of errors that have been corrected in BMP058. The document also has a large water stain throughout, although it does not interfere with the legibility of the text., Badakhshan Manuscript Project., Location: Khorogh.
