In the introduction the author states that he composed the work 866 [1462] in Marmora during the reign of Sultan Muḥammad II, who reigned 855-886 [1451-1481] \| Later quarter-bound type III (without flap) binding in red leather and green embossed paper. Blue and red marbled paper pastedowns and end papers. \| Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900., Signature of an owner ʻAṭāʼ Allāh al-Mawlawī, the copyist Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm al-shahīr bi-al-Maʻānī and a seal impression (fol. 1a).
