Translated from the Turkish original by Muḥammad Samīʻ ibn Shaykh Ardalānī and his brother ʻAbd Allāh for Sulaymān Pāshā; see Dānishgāh-i Tihrān catalogue for further information. The translators state that the original was written in Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1155 H (leaf 10a), but they must be referring to the date of the copy they used as the author lived in the 11th century Hijri. \| Ms. codex., Title from leaf 9b., Ms. erroneously foliated in Western script beginning on the front flyleaf. Record follows erroneous foliation., Physical description: 17 lines per page; written in casual nastaʻliq and naskh in black on two types of laid European paper.
