Sheikh said... Muhammad bin Al-Ghars Al-Hanafi... Now, praise be to God, who, when He decrees, is kind. There is no commentator on what he ruled, and may peace and blessings be upon His Messenger... I was afflicted with some of the rulings before imagining, and I was also almost taken to writing..., Colophon: His comment was completed just before noon on the blessed Saturday of the sixteenth [tenth] of the holy month of Shaban of the months of the year nine hundred and eighty-six, at the hands of the poor and contemptible Abd al-Qadir al-Mantai al-Shafi’i.
