Magical inscription (fol. 1a)., Collection: Paper ; fol. i + 26 + i ; Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 15 lines per page; ruled, slanted ruling for marginal comments., Description: Rubricated ; overlining in red; watermarks (endpapers: three crescents; text: unidentified, possibly three hats?) ; MS in good condition; edges trimmed and where there are notes they are folded., Origin: According to colophon copied 1219 (fol. 26b)., Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to You, O God, for what You have summed up in granting the knowledge of the virtuous... As for what follows, when the reasoning of God did not benefit me, and perhaps it will give me joy every morning and evening, Colophon: God Almighty sealed us with true beliefs and the elimination of falsehood and gathered us into the group of the happy in the highest [highest] of the Most High, with the prophets and messengers, at the hand of the weak, skinny servant who lacked the gentle king. He freed the poor, despicable person in need of... By the mercy of his abundant Lord, may God forgive his sins and cover his faults in the year 1219 | Later quarter-bound type III (without flap) binding in brown leather and blue embossed paper.
