I came across a letter from some people of the ninth century, the content of which is that reciting dhikr out loud is an innovation - [abstraction in Parsing] Praise be to God, the Most High, the Most High -- [The Path of Favor] Praise be to God, the Vast, the Most Holy, to whom there is nothing like Him -- [Is'af al-Hanif] Praise be to God... Al-Shabramalsi, was asked... about Adam’s height and whether he remained tall when he was expelled from Paradise... and he answered...
