Notes Treatise on Ḥanafī fiqh. | Ms. codex., Title from preamble of text (fol. 1b, l. 10)., Physical description: 13 lines per page. Written in black ink with use of red for headings. Cream paper, hardly translucid, with chain lines visible; frame-ruled. Marginal and interlinear annotations and commentaries. Several inscriptions by different hands on fol. 1a. Short excerpt from Mashāriq al-Anwār on fol. 125a. Catchword on the verso of most leaves. Wear on first leaf; stained with dampness., Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: “149 Ḥ” (covering “139”). Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥ 1377"., Origin: According to colophon, copy completed in Jumādá II 786 [July-Aug. 1384] by Ayyūb ibn Qūsht Ḥājj (fol. 124b)., Incipit: Praise be to God who exalted knowledge in times of hurricane and exalted its party in calamities and prayers... Our Lord Al-Habir Al-Nahir said, the author of statement and structure in reporting and editing, the revealer of problems and dilemmas, the clearer of metaphors and signs, the source of the Most High, the knowledge of guidance... the preserver of truth, religion, and religion, the sun of Islam. And the Muslims are the inheritor of the prophets and messengers, Abu Al-Barakat Abdullah Ibn Ahmad Ibn Mahmoud Al-Nasafi [---] Upon him, when I saw that people were inclined to shortcuts and short-terms and were reluctant to elaborate, I wanted to give a sufficient summary of what was widespread and widespread in order to increase its benefit. Explicit: Then divide the amount according to the correction, and whoever among the heirs agrees on something, make it as if it did not happen, and divide what is left among the arrows of those who remain, and God knows best.
