Folios [ii]b-[x]b ruled in gold into 15 squares, evidently intended for a table of contents. Philological statement by ʻAbd al-Ḥalīm Nājīʹzādah (fol. 1a)., Collection: Paper ; fol. x + 663 + iv ; requires signed: 2-68 ; catchwords ; Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 27 lines per page; Frame-ruled in gold and black., Description: Rubricated; some vowel signs; watermarks ; MS in good condition., Decoration: Elaborate illuminated headpiece in pink, orange, gold, red, blue and white (fol. 2b)., Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions. Chapter Al-H..., Colophon: God has sealed our deeds with good deeds, made our aspirations attainable in both worlds, made us, our parents, and our lovers among the people of his guardianship, and organized us into the line of his specialties and guardians. Indeed, He is capable of what He wills, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and upon all his family and companions, and our last supplication is that praise be to God, Lord of the worlds | Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Gold-stamped mandorla with pendants with black infill and gold-tooled decorative edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Gold-tooling on flap fore-edge.
