Title on tail of text block: "Iṣfahānī". Inscription in black ink in Western numerals on fol. 1a: "511" (corresponds to Brill's list. See Houtsma, M. Th. Catalogue d'une collection de manuscrits arabes et turcs (188-), no. 989)., Layout: 19 and 21 lines per page ; frame-ruled in blue., Description: Written in small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Light cream paper with laid and chain lines visible. Some paper dyed yellow. Foliation in black ink using Arabic numerals on the first text (starts with "1" on third fol.)., Origin: Copy of Text 1 completed in Ṣafar 875 [1470] by Muḥammad ibn ʻĪsá ibn ʻAlī in Madrasat Zayrak [Zeyrek madrasa, Istanbul?](colophon, fol. 212a). Copy of Text 2 completed on a Monday at the beginning of Dhū al-Ḥijjah 874 [June 1470] by the same scribe, whose name appears here as Muḥammad ibn ʻĪsá Ḥājjī ibn ʻAlá al-Dīn al-Aqyāzatī(?) Blind-tooled and gold-painted with a large central lobed mandorla with two pendants on the vertical axis and an outer frame consisting of fillets and a guilloche, with knot-work in the inner corners. Red-brown leather doublure with at its centre a filigree lobed mandorla with arabesque and floral work on a gilded ground, outlined in gold.
