Notes and glosses on small slips of paper inserted between the folios. It is stated in the colophon that the work was composed 980 [1572]., Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 133 ; catchwords ; Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 21 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red., Description: Rubricated ; MS in good condition., Origin: Immediately after the colophon is a note in Turkish which seems to indicate that this copy was made 1117 [1706/7]., Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to God, who made us a moderate nation, the best of nations... And after that, reason and transmission are consistent, and the Qur’an and Sunnah are identical. Indeed, the world is fleeting and quick to disappear and be ruined..., Colophon: Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds. It was compiled with the help and success of God Almighty on the night of Wednesday the seventeenth of Shaban in the year nine hundred and eighty | Later type II (with flap) binding in dark brown leather and marbled paper.
