Notes An introduction to the work of ethics by Maḥmūd ibn Aḥmad al-Faryābī. | Ms. codex., Title from fol. 1a., Layout: 19 lines per page., Collection: Paper ; fol. 21; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Description: Written in a medium small, fairly casual script in black ink with use of red., Origin: Copied by Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Ẓarīf al-Ḥanbalī (by madhʹhab) al-Qādirī (by ṭarīqah), and completed on the 10th of Ṣafar. 1055 (1645) -- colophon (fol. 20a)., Incipit: Praise be to God, the ancient Sunday, peace, the eternal, the omnipotent, the all-knowing... As for what follows, the weak and guilty servant... Ali bin Mahmoud bin Muhammad, crouching Badakhshan, may God forgive him.
