Notes A gloss on the commentary of Jalāl al-Dīn al-Dawwānī on the section on logic in al-Tahdhīb fī al-manṭiq wa-al-kalām, a treatise on logic and metaphysics by Saʻd al-Dīn Masʻūd ibn ʻUmar al-Taftāzānī. | Ms. codex., Title from title page (fol. 1a)., Heavily annotated with marginal and interlinear notes and glosses throughout. On first page occurs beginning of another work. The title page mentions that there are two works present, the glosses of Saʻīdī and Dawwānī, but only Saʻīdī's gloss seems to be present., Collation: Paper ; fol. (1) + 54 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 19-21 lines per page., Description: Rubricated ; overlining and other use of red ; watermarks (crest?) ; MS in good condition., Origin: According to colophon copied 1078 by Aḥmad ibn Muṣṭafá (fol. 53b)., Incipit: بسم الله ... الحمد لله على تهذيب المنطق والکلام في تعريف عقايد الاسلام ... اما بعد فهذه تعليقات بل تحقيقات على قسم المنطق من التهذيب ..., Colophon: اتمم هذه الرسالة من يد الفقير الى الله الغفور السيد احمد بن مصطفى لا يرجي شيئا منه الا الايمان الوفور وعفو القصور في سنة ثمان وسبعين والف بعون الله تع | Unbound.
