The first two sections are probably from the same period., Beginning/Incipit: [The second of the jokes] In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The book of anger is great, and Al-Baghawi stipulated... -- [Commentary]... He used to cry out in what is possible... -- [Continuation]... Is that enough? The place of righteousness for the water..., Ending/Colophon: [The second of the jokes] This is because he said that divorce is valid for the Hajj of the one who steps on the money or the hill, there are two aspects... -- [Commentary] ... And this problem that he mentioned is the doctrine that... -- [Continuation] ... at the hand of the servant poverty... Ali bin Muhammad Al-Ashmawi Al-Shafi’i, may God be kind to him and his father, his misfortune, and the Muslims on the sixth of Jumada al-Akhira in the year 884? Praise be to God alone 1. fol. 1a-71b: al-Thānī min al-Nukat ʻalá Minhāj al-Imām a-Nawawī / li-Ibn al-Naqīb. A section of Kitāb al-Sirāj fī nukat al-Minhāj, a commentary Minhāj al-ṭālibīn, an abridgment by al-Nawawī of al-Muḥarrar fī al-furūʻ, a work on Shāfiʻite law by al-Rāfiʻī al-Qazwīnī. This copy begins with Kitāb al-Ghaḍab and ends with Kitāb al-Waṣāyā. Between folios 50 and 51 a number of folios are missing., 2. fol. 72a-232b: [Commentary on Minhāj al-ṭālibīn]. A fragment of an unidentified commentary on Minhāj al-ṭālibīn. It opens with Kitāb al-Aḍḥiyah and closes with Kitāb al-ʻItq., 3. fol. 233a-: [al-Takmilah]. A part of al-Takmilah, a supplement, by Badr al-Dīn al-Zarkashī, to an unfinished commentary on Minhāj al-ṭālibīn by Jamāl al-Dīn al-Asnawī. This section contains Kitāb al-Nikāḥ in part and Kitāb al-Ṣadāq. | Unbound. Remnants of sewing remain. | Ownership signatures: .. ibn ʻAbd al-Ghanī .., other obscured names (fol.
