The first takes up distinguishing features of Syria, while the second is mainly devoted to the description of the Aqṣá Mosque in Jerusalem. | Ms. codex., Title from title page (fol. 1a)., The author finished his work on Wednesday, Shaʻbān 13, 752/Oct. 6th, 1351., Collection: Paper ; fol. 40; catchwords ; Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 28-32 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red., Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (grapes with crown); MS in good condition; leaf 40 repaired., Colophon: It was completed on Wednesday, the thirteenth of Shaban in the year 752 in Jerusalem, and its compiler was Imam Abu Mahmoud Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Al-Hafiz Bahaa al-Din al-Qasim, may God Almighty have mercy on him. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions. Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds. M, Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
