Ahmet III, 1404 (Fihrist al-makhṭūṭāt al-muṣawwarah, I, 555, no. 51). Ms. Qaw. I, 267 is attributed to Nūr al-Dīn ʻAlī ibn Abī al-Fatḥ, cf. Brockelmann, Gal, SN II, 165 (4c). The lists of Ibn al-Durayhimʼs works in Ibn Ḥajar, al-Durar al-kāminah, III, 106sqq. and Shawkānī, al-Badr al-ṭāliʻ (1348 AH.), I, 477 do not mention this title. Ḥājjī Khalīfah, Kashf al-ẓunūn, col. 1882 (anon.), . Incip.: ... Praise be to God, who has exalted Islam among some people and humbled others with it... And then the motivation for me to do what you mentioned... You saw God’s enemies, the Christians from among the people of the Dhimmah, taking control of the country.
