I hope [I hope] with this continuation of a good outcome and conclusion. M | 1. fol. 1a-13a: [Risālah fī al-ḥisāb] A compendium of arithmetic. Contains charts and drawings. In colophon it is stated that work was composed in Iṣfahān, 990 [1582]. Incomplete at the beginning., 2. fol. 14a: [Gloss on Sharḥ Muqaddamat al-ṣalāh] First page only; inverted., 3. fol. 14b-55a: [Sharḥ Muqaddamat al-ṣalāh] A commentary on the Muqaddamat al-ṣalāh of Luṭf Allāh al-Nasafī al-Fāḍil al-Kaydānī, who flourished ca, 900 [1494/5]. This in turn is a work on prayer discussing its conditions, the duties connected with it, when it is acceptable and when it is not. In Ḥājjī Khalīfah, Kashf al-ẓunūn (1835-58), VI, p. 83, is a statement that there is a difference of opinion as to the author of the groundwork; it assumes that the author is Shams al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Ḥamzah al-Fanārī 751-834 [1350-1430/1].
