Commentary on the famous ode of al-Tawzarī in praise of the Prophet. | Collation: Paper; fol. 35 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Description: Vowel signs; rubricated ; overlining and verse separators in red; MS in good condition., Layout: 15-18 lines per page ; Frame-ruled in red., Marginal notes in different hands. Folios 1-19 are written in one hand and 20-35 in another. Title page has the names of several works and the autograph of the copyist. A statement in the text on folio 2 says that the present work is a redaction from several previous commentaries on al-Tawzariʼs ode., Ms. codex., Origin: According to colophon copied al-Aḥad 21 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1112 by Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad Khilāf (fol. 35b)., Title from text (fol. 2a), Colophon: This blessed copy was completed on Sunday, the twenty-first of the sacred month of Dhul-Hijjah, the close of the year one thousand two hundred and twenty. Ten on the hand of the poor servant who hopes from God Almighty for security from what Muhammad ibn Muhammad fears is a dispute. May God forgive him, his father, his sheikhs, his brothers, their parents, and all Muslim men and women, male and female believers, living and dead, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his family and companions.
