Notes A collection of poems containing tasbīʻ of the Burdah of al-Būṣīrī by an unknown author, another ode of unknown authorship, one by Ḥasan ibn al-Tindī, and still another of unknown authorship. These are followed by selections from the Dīwān of Muḥammad ibn Abī Bakr al-Jaʻbarī, 820 [1417/8], an ode by al-Ustādh al-Bakrī, probably Shams al-Dīn Muḥammad ʻAbd al-Raḥmān al-Bakrī al-Ṣiddīqī 898-952 [1492/3-1545/6], a number of short selections by unknown authors, Muʻāraḍat Bānat Suʻād by al-Būṣīrī 608-694 [1211/2-1294/5], Takhmīs Lāmīyat Ibn al-Wardī, 689-749 [1290-1349], and an ode by al-Bahāʼ Zuhayr, 1258, beginning: Anā fī al-ḥubbī ṣāḥib al-muʻjizāt. | Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 70 + ii ; catchwords ; paginated at center top in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Description: Rubricated ; verse separators in red ; MS undated but probably of the early XIXth century ; MS in good condition., Layout: 17-23 lines per page ; ruled., Marginal notes., Ms. codex., Title from title page (fol. 1a)., Colophon: تم والله اعلم بالصواب واليه المرجع والمآب والى الله ترجع الامور, Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم هذه تسبيع البردة | Later? type II (with flap) binding in red leather and red marbled paper. | Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900. | Hitti, P.
