Extracts, inscriptions, signatures, and a seal impression on pastedowns, and before, between, and after the two main works., Collection: Paper ; fol. i + 131 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 15-19 lines per page., Description: Text overlined in red; lacking some iʻjām diacritical marks; irregularly alternating plain and tinted paper; MS in good condition except stained with dampness., Origin: [Sharḥ al-ʻAqāʼid al-Nasafīyah] Copied by Muṣṭafá ibn Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān (fol. 62b) -- [Ḥall al-ʻaqāʼid] Copied Tuesday Jumādá al-Akhir 845 by Muṣṭafá ibn Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān ibn Aḥmad (fol. 130a)., Incipit: [Explanation of the Doctrines] In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and in Him is help. Praise be to God, who is united in the majesty of His essence and the perfection of His attributes... And then, the building of the science of laws and rulings and the foundation of the principles of the doctrines of Islam -- [solution of doctrines] In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and in Him is help. Praise be to God, who is united in His essence... By the requirement of the attributes of beauty and with the help of majesty..., Colophon: [Explanation of the Doctrines] He finished his writing Mustafa bin Muhammad bin Sulaiman covered them... and poverty and bestowed upon them... the Muslims the path of justice, generosity and benevolence -- [Resolution of the Doctrines] The completion of editing this honorable copy occurred at the hands of the poor servant to the mercy of his Lord, the Mighty and Almighty, Mustafa bin Muhammad bin Suleiman bin Ahmed, may God forgive them and all the believing men and women on Tuesday at the time of dinner of the month Jumada al-Akhir of the year eight hundred and forty-five | 1. fol.
