The poor servant says... Indeed, I sought God’s help in hanging a nice part on the door of a waqf - [Al-Durr Al-Madhiyya] Say, Praise be to God, Who alone is exalted * and His glory, and ask for His glory. His help and entreaty -- [Forty questions] He said... These are forty questions... I organized them as questions for the sheikhs of the country -- [Chapter What is left out] Chapter What is left out of analogy * Drawing from the hamza without ambiguity -- [Answers] These are answers... He said... Praise be to God who preceded existing beings... And after he asked - [Composition] I say praise be to God in my verses first * And I thank Him with thanks for what you have done - [Ummah] O you who desire to recite the Qur’an * And the merits of mastery are mentioned - [Al-Mufid] Praise be to God who has honored us with the preservation of His Book... As for what follows, the best work, Incipit (continued): [The clear] Praise be to You, my Lord, the first of the systems I began * And I dedicate my prayers to the Prophet Muhammad - [Explanation of the clear] Praise be to God, His praise is due... And then these are papers that include an explanation - [Nathur Al-Durar] He said... A question about knowing the doctrines of the seven imams - [A question because] I asked, may God guide us and you... about God Almighty’s saying, “If you spread it out...
