In the colophon the work is called Khulāṣat al-iʻrāb, a commentary by Ḥājjī Bābā al-Ṭūsawī on al-Miṣbāḥ, a work on syntax by al-Muṭarrizī. This is clearly a mistake., Collation: Paper ; fol. 11; catchwords ; Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 13 lines per page; ruled., Description: Rubricated ; watermarks(crown?); MS in fair condition., Origin: According to colophon copy completed 1180 (fol. 10b)., Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. A speech does not include two words in the chain of transmission. The word is a word used for a single meaning, and it is a noun, a verb, and a letter. Colophon: And its author wrote, I completed the summary of the parsing with my right hand. Blackened by the dust of feet, Alam al-Din was forgiven in the year 1180 | Later quarter-bound type III (without flap) limp binding in red leather and blue-green paper with block-pressed design. | Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1904. | Hitti, P.
