Rare., Origin: According to colophon copy completed Monday middle of Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1051 by Zayn al-Dīn ʻAlī ibn al-Ḥusayn al-Banānī[?] (fol. 232a)., Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful... Praise be to God, who explained the origins of the masters of minds to clarify the meanings of words with Badi’ al-Bayan. ..., Colophon: The emptiness of the embellishment of these footnotes has agreed on the lengthy one attributed to the honorable Rumi on Monday in the middle of the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the year one thousand and fifty-one AH, at the hands of the least caliph, in fact, nothing, Zayn al-Din Ali bin al-Hussein al-Bannani, in the Sultanate of Isfahan, may God protect her from both events. O God, grant me success and benefit me in it, for you are capable of all things and worthy of an answer. May God’s blessings be upon the best of His creation, Muhammad and his entire family.
