Ḥājjī Khalifah states that the work is in six volumes; This present volume is the seventh. Title also appears on lower edge of text block., Collation: Paper ; fol. (1) + 409 ; catchwords ; Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 35 lines per page; ruled., Description: Rubricated ; some vowel signs; watermarks (crown-star-crescent) ; MS in good condition. MS is rare., Origin: Probably from the Very much, ever. Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs. M | Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Blind-stamped madorla with pendants and blind-tooled edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Orange paper pastedowns. Upper corners of binding damaged. | Ownership signature: Muḥammad al-Barqāwī al-Qāḍī al-Ḥanbalī dated '56 with his seal impression (fol. 1a). Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900. | Hitti, P.
