The first thing I say is I praise God, the Most High, the Most Generous, who taught with the pen, taught man what he did not know, then followed that with prayer... And after that, this is a book with which I explained my summary called the Golden Fragments in the knowledge of the speech of the Arabs, and completed its evidence...
