Our Master Muhammad and his family and companions and peace be upon them all, on the day of Tuesday of the holy month of Ramadan in the months of the year sixty-five [sixty] after the thousand [thousand] in the handwriting of the poorest and most needy of people, Al-Hussein bin Ahmad Al-Maqri Al-Masuri... Written in Bahr... Hijrat Al-Mudhari’, may God protect him... With the drawing of the most perfect Sheikh, the appointed of the seven good and virtuous men, Ali bin Abdullah, the writer of my master, the venerable Sayyid Ali bin Ibrahim rejoiced in his generosity... May God accept it from all for the sake of Muhammad and his family. Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
