Praise be to God, who has preferred men over women according to certain criteria and loved them among them... And then the poor servant says to God Almighty, “Bajj Al-Muati bin Salem Ibn Omar Al-Samalawi.” This is a treatise on matters of speech and division..., Colophon: Its collection was completed within an hour of Saturday at the hands of its poor author, Abd al-Muti al-Samlawi. May God forgive him, his parents, and all Muslims, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.
