On the twenty-sixth folio there are two verses of satire against women ascribed to Ḥassān ibn Thābit, the poet laureate of the Prophet., Collection: Paper ; fol. 244 ; Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 21 lines per page ; ruled., Description: Rubricated ; vowel signs; MS in good condition. MS is old and rare., Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and in Him I trust. Praise be to God, who uttered the eloquent Sunnah with its comprehensive words and drowned the hearts of the eloquent with springs of wisdom..., Colophon: The first volume of Al-Shafi’s book was completed in the explanation of Musnad Al-Shafi’i, may God be pleased with him. It is followed in the second by the fifth branch in Qunoot. Praise be to God alone, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad, the illiterate Prophet, and his entire family Unbound.
