Commentary on the Shāṭibīyah, a versification of the Taysīr li-ḥifẓ madhāhib al-qurrāʼ al-sabʻah by ʻUthmān ibn Saʻīd al-Dānī (d. 444/1053), on the readings of the Qurʼān. According to the end of this copy, the commentary was completed on 21 Rajab 884 [October 8, 1479] (fol. 103b). | Ms. codex., Title from fol. 3a. The same title appears on the lower edge of the text block., 19 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red. Light cream glazed paper with laid and chain lines visible. The first 13 fol. are later additions and replacements. Table of contents on fol. 1b-2b. Explanation of the abbreviations used in the text on fol. 3b. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (omits a fol. between fol. 65 and 66).
