On the demonstration of the existence of the Necessary existent. | Ms. codex., Title from title page (fol. 1a)., 17 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh with elements of nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of magenta and red. European glazed paper with watermark. Ḥāshīyah by Muḥyī al-Dīn, ʻAbd al-Raḥmān, etc. on the margins. On fol. 1a: Title and statement with seal, dated 1206 AH. [1791 or 2]. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Inscription in Arabic script on a modern label pasted on the upper cover: “ʻAqāʼid 102”. Inscription in Arabic on a modern label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "1153/2 Ḥāʼ"., Incipit: Glory be to You, Glory be to You, how great is your status... And then he says... Muhammad bin Asaad Al-Dawani Al-Siddiqi has written in this treatise the faces of proof proving the duty, glory be to Him, according to what was mentioned [2a] by the imams of wisdom and speech, Explicit: He is God, my Lord, who fulfills the truth by His grace and abolishes falsehood. By His justice, in His Most Beautiful Hand, and to Him, the return, the righteousness has been achieved and the place of scrutiny has been completed for the Master of the loyal investigators, thanks to the All-Knowing, the Most High, the Master, the Pride of the Best, our Master, Jalal al-Din. May God extend his shadow and place a barrier between him and the disasters.
