Praise belongs to God, Lord of the Worlds, more than the praise of those who praise Him... As for what follows, the motives of His love towards His remembrance have called me to compile a book in which there is the core of understanding from those of understanding regarding the virtue of praying upon the Master of the beloved..., Colophon: The completion of its copy was the fourteenth of Rajab al-Fard of the months of the year one thousand twenty-eight. Al-Qadousi, the country of Al-Shaarawi, Sheikh Al-Maliki in doctrine, may God forgive him, his parents, his sheikhs, his relatives, his lovers, and those who see him and pray for him and [for] all for forgiveness, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his family and companions until the Day of Judgment.
