Praise be to God, who bestows His grace and blessings upon all of His creation... And after this, this is the introduction to the book Kalila wa Dimna presented by Hunud Ibn Ishaq..., Colophon: A great greeting until the Day of Judgment? The book of Kalila and Dimna is written on Saturday, the twenty-eighth of Safar of the month of the year 1154, peace be upon its owner | Later type II (with flap) binding in light brown leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants and blind-tooled decorative edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Burghundy paper cutout design pasted on the inner edge of yellow paper pastedowns.
