Autograph thabat by Abū al-Yaman Muḥammad ibn ʻAlī ibn Ismaʻīl ibn ʻUmar ibn ʻAbd al-Raḥmān al-Miṣrī al-Qudsī (see fol. 4, pp. 11-12) [b. 839/1436, see Sakhāwī, al-Daw al-lāmiʻ, vol. 8, 171], consisting of a list of books read, beginning with the Qurʼān in various readings, the Kitāb al-Taysīr by Abī ʻAmr al-Dānī, the Shāṭibīyah by Abū al-Qāsim al-Shāṭib, etc. read with Abū al-ʻAbbās Aḥmad ibn Zayn al-Dīn Abī Bakr ... al-Qilqīlī al-Shāmī, known as al-Sikandarī, nazīl al-Jāmiʻ al-Azhar (fol. 5a) [75135/56, see-see Sakhāwī, al-Daw al-lāmiʻ, vol. 1, p. 263-264], with an ijāzah, followed by two autograph attestations of this ijāzah, one from Jaʻfar ibn Ibrahīm ibn Jaʻfar ibn Sulaymān ibn Hubayr ibn Jarīr ibn ... ibn Faḍl fārīl-Qarī al-Maqarī al-Sanhūrī al-Azharī, nazīl al-Diyār al-Miṣrīyah wa-al-Qāhirah, dated 19 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 857 (fol. 9a-10b) [ca. 810-894/1407-1489, see Sakhāwī, al-Daw al-lāmiʻ, vol. 3, p. 67-70], the other from ʻAlī ibn Yūsuf al-Jabartī (fol. 10b) [see Sakhāwī, al-Daw al-lāmiʻ, vol. 6, p. 53]. | Ms. codex., Title supplied by cataloger, according to Mach, R. Yahuda., 15 lines per page. Written in medium large naskh in black ink with use of red and green ink. Light cream paper with laid and chain lines and pulp visible.
