Inscription on folio 73b., Collection: Paper ; fol. 73 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 19 lines per page., Description: Vowel signs ; MS in fair condition; worm-eaten; first 26 and last 2 defective folios., Origin: Probably from XIIIth century. Copied by ʻAlī ibn Maḥmūd ibn Abī Ṭālib (fol. 73a)., Incipit (as extant): If he was not told, “Do what you see fit,” and they corrected his part and decided..., Colophon: The disputed systems have ended * And praise be to God for the cases * Then may peace and blessings be upon the Hashemi Prophet forever * and the author of the systems, Abu Hafs Omar * Whoever blows up will complete this in Safar * for the middle of the day on Saturday, feeding time * in the year four hundred and fifty. It was copied by the weak master, the caller to all Muslims, Syed Ali bin Mahmoud bin Abi Talib Remnants of binding in dark brown leather survive.
