Folios 2, 3 and 106 extended., Layout: 25 lines per page with separation between hemisitches., Ms. codex., Origin: According to colophon copied Sunday 28 Shaʻbān 1067 by Rajab ibn Ḥijāzī al-Ḥarīrī in Damascus (fol. 106b)., Title from colophon (fol. 106a)., Colophon: Its copy was completed on the blessed Sunday of the twenty-eighth of the blessed month of Sha’ban in the year sixty-seven. And from the emigration of the most merciful, he was freed by the poor, humiliated, contemptible servant to God, the Rich, the Mighty, Rajab bin Hijazi Al-Hariri. May God forgive him and all Muslims, and that is guarded by Damascus, Syria. May God’s blessings be upon our master, our master, and our refuge, our master Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and upon his family and honorable companions. As the morning began with a smile, and the full moon shone, and the fragrance of the closing musk, Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious. The Merciful. We praise you, O God, whose prowess you do not praise. Starting [initiating] worship with something better than praising Him | Later type II (with flap) binding in red leather and blue paper.
