It is likely that the author is Badr al-Dīn ibn Mālik, 686 [1287], the son of Jamāl al-Dīn ibn Mālik 600-672 [1203/4-1274]., Collection: Paper ; fol. 19; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 15 lines per page., Description: Rubricated ; some vowel signs; Several folios are tinted light brown; MS in fair condition; Several folios are foxed and mended. It appears that the edge of the MS was trimmed., Origin: According to colophon copied 17 Rabīʻ I 788 by Aḥmad ibn Aḥmad al-Ḥanafī (fol. 19b)., Incipit: In the name of God... He guides whom He wills to a straight path, Colophon: ... The writing was completed with the praise of Al-Aziz Al-Wahhab on the seventeenth of the month of Rabi’ Al-Awwal in the year eighty-eight. And seven hundred at the hands of the poor servant of God Almighty, Ahmed Ibn Ahmad Al-Hanafi, God Almighty treated him with his hidden kindness, and God is sufficient for us and is a blessing | Later quarter-bound type III (without flap) binding in red leather and yellow paper with block-pressed design.
