Notes Brown leather binding with golden central medallions, corner ornaments and flap, restored - brown leather binding with golden central medallions, corner ornaments and flap, restored - small, cleanly written, partially vocalised marginal text written at an angle Headings of works or chapters red or blue Overlines, dates and dots red Keywords and Arabic quotations red and blue - red and blue/green script mirror engraving - black, red, blue, green - Arabic script → Naskh — paper — Short treatise on the art of divination using letters, going back to the Caliph ʿAlī and based on an interpretation by the Arabic scholar Ǧalāl-ad-Dīn as-Suyūṭī (d. 1505) Then on f. 479b-480a a kind of Qaṣīde-i ǧefriyye, a poem on the same Art, by Sigitvārī ʿAlī Dede, whose poet's name according to the last verse is Ḥarīmī was. For the author see ʿOM I 115, where his name is ʿAlī Dede Bosnevī. He was a scholar, a follower of the Ḫalvetiyye order and died in 1007/1598-99.
