Notes red calico ribbon, good — red calico ribbon, good — generally quite good and distinct, of medium size, with elongated letters, Somewhat worn on some pages, otherwise very black. — The number of letters of lines approx. 22-25. — The space between each group of letters is average 0.2 to 0.3 cm. — The words are broken at the end of the lines. — That at the end standing م has a short downward stroke, the final ي has a short bend at the bottom to the left (less often to the right), likewise, but more to the left, the closing ن and ل ;ق at the end goes slightly downwards with a rounded bend to the left. Initial ا is a straight line, rarely with a curve at the bottom to the right. has initial ع a small curve at the top to the right. — Diacritical points are usually set, but are often missing in the ي of the ending ين and elsewhere. The ق has 2 dots above, ف one above; at ش and ث the 3 dots are next to each other. — The vowels are almost placed everywhere and designated by red dots; the one placed in the middle of the letter u-point is usually clear. The nunation can be identified by two next to each other (less common points above each other. Long ä is in endings and often not otherwise referred to as: so فطر السموت)39:47), on the other hand عالم (ibid.). [Vertical lines, e.g. b. at ذلك, are not there.] — The bookmarks like Ǧazm, Tašdīd etc. are not noticed; but sometimes in the article ال appears in the middle between the two letters a horizontal small red line. — There are no specific symbols for individual verse divisions here, but there are larger groups (of about 10 verses or a page and a half) marked with a larger gold dot. There is also a gold-plated star on f. 2a next to the place where the 24th day begins Verge. — There is no heading here. — brownish-black, red, black, gold — Arabic script → Kūfī — parchment — Sura 39:23 "maṯāniya taqšaʿirr" (مثاني تقشعر) to 39:71 "wa-yunḏirūnakum" (وينذرونكم); according to the wing count used by Ahlwardt: Sura 39:24-39:71
