Rarely correcting glosses in the margins — Arabic script → Maghribī — paper — At the end, a defective treatise on the three synonymous terms waʿd (promise),
ʿahd (obligation) and ʿaqd (contract) with numerous illustrative traditions,
“elegant” stories (ḥikāyāt mustaẓrafa) and recourse to history and genealogy
(e.g. about the ʿarab al-ʿāriba, “pure-blooded Arabs”) as well as some verses of poetry
(among others by Ibn as-Sarrāǧ an-Naḥwī) Similar works are also in circulation under the titles Al-wafāʾ bil-ʿahd, Iltimās as-saʿd
fī l-wafāʾ bil-ʿahd (from as-Saḥāwī; GAL S 2/33,29) etc.
