small Nesḫī of personal style f. 1a-3a: Nestaʿlīq Heading red Numbers in the text red or black, overlines black - black, red - paper - Commentary on the Dīvān by the Persian poet Ḥāfiẓ, therefore also as a title: Šerḥ-i
Dīvān-i Ḥāfiẓ possible. The work is purely a compilation and consists of poems by Ḥāfiẓ
and the commentaries on it by Sürūrī (d. 1562) and Šemʿī (d. around 1000/1591-92). It seems unclear to me whether the date given at the end of 1600 marks the completion of the work
or the copy applies. It is possible that the present manuscript is this apparent
