Notes	Cardboard volume with leather spine - quite small, narrow, fleeting, quite clear, vocalized - Arabic script - paper - missive of Ibn-Zaidūn in artificial prose, written in the name of one of him revered, witty woman, the daughter of the Spanish caliph al-Mustakfī bi-Llāh addressed to Ibn-ʿAbdūs. It contains numerous allusions to historical events, especially from the earliest period of Arab history.
Sample Text	Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, to whom only praise is due... And then this is the message of Imam Al-Wazi, my father Al-Walid Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Ghalib bin Zaydoun Al-Makhzoumi Al-Andalusi Al-Qurtubi, the poet famous etc. — f. 18a Others saw from him what he did not see. The message was completed with God’s praise and help
