in the margins, not infrequently longer notes by the same hand - cardboard cover with calico spine - small, condensed, clear, not vocalized keywords and headings red - black, red - Arabic script - paper - excerpt from the author's well-received work, al-Muršida fi 'l-ḥisāb, through
the son of the mathematician ʿAbdallāh Ibn-Muḥammad aš-Šinšaurī (936/1529-ca. 998/1590). The title given in the manuscript is from a later hand, namely by hand
of the frequent forger; the author's name is not his own
and is correct.
