Palm leaf manuscript between two wooden covers with unblackened Tamil characters.
Contains two texts. — Enclosed is a piece of paper with a note in French (from Mr.
Lechenault - ?). — black — palm leaf — (1) Tirukkuṟaḷ: Complete text. One chapter each with 10 Kuṟaḷ verses per sheet.
— Each page has the title of the chapter as a marginalia. — The text is followed by a
Sheet indicating the end of the text., (2) Nālaṭiyār: Complete text. 3 to 4 pages per chapter. Chapter title
given as marginalia. — Contains a sheet preceding the text (unnumbered).
the blessing (vāṉiṭu villiṉ ...). — p. 67v. contains indication of the end of the text, with
the detail that the text contains 40 chapters (with 10 verses each), i.e. 400 verses. — It
