Vocalized with dots. — Syriac script → West Syriac (Serto) — Collection of poems by Micha the Watchmaker (see Sachau's journey in Syria and Mesopotamia
p. 355), who, originally a Jacobite, later converted to the Protestant Church
was. Mainly a justification of his Protestant faith against his
former co-religionists, the Jacobites, and against the Catholics. Appendix on page 22v, 23r: Poem about the love of wisdom and faith. The collection consists of 196 verses of four twelve-syllables that rhyme with each other
verses.
