Notes	big, clear; the added parts are in European hands. — Koran text framed in black. — black, red — paper — The partial manuscript contains Sura 36 to Sura 73, verse 8. Beginning: Index Suretarum; an index of the surahs contained in this manuscript, with Your Arabic name, as well as the canonical Islamic count (red) and the corresponding Count in the Latin edition of Bibliander (1543/1550) (black). Page / Folio 1: Beginning of the Arabic text (Sura 36), with Latin opposite Translation on inserted sheet. The translation is from Theodor's edition Bibliander is taken, in turn, based on the medieval translation by Robert of Ketton based. The Latin translation is partly in Schickard's hand (Sura 36, verses 1-12, Sura 37, verses 173-182), the rest in the hand of a copyist. Schickard shot through the Koran manuscript with writing paper. A ghazal from Hafez is pasted on page 161, the beginning corresponds to n. 401 Hafez's divan (rest is cropped in the photo, but seems to be slightly different).
