Notes Rarely commented glosses in the margins (but including several author's marginalia) - Red-brown half-leather binding; the lids covered with weathered, soiled paper, which is torn open towards the back and the textile material underneath is visible - black, red - Arabic script → Naskh - paper - Commentary on Muḥammad Ibn-Pīr ʿAlī Muḥyī-ad-Dīn al-Birkawīs (d. 981/1573; GAL² 2/583-6 S 2/654-8; Kaḥḥāla 9/123-4) Muʿaddil aṣ-ṣalāh on prayer (to the basic text see Ahlwardt No. 3529)
Sample Text A (f. 1b): Praise be to God, who made us of a group whom He delegated to obey Him, and I volunteered [...] As for what follows, when I saw a modified message Prayer for the divine world [...] So I began to explain it with shortcomings - E (f. 94a): And upon it was a handkerchief of light. The Messenger of God spoke the truth and the Beloved of God spoke the truth. It was completed on Sunday afternoon.
