Notes
Between sheets 58 and 59 there is a gap into which sheet 141 of the volume Sachau 202
belongs in. — The Hds. is written with great care and evenness. Not vocalized;
some sparse vowel characters are mostly dots, rarely Greek characters. A peculiarity of the scribe's orthography is the tendency to derive from Af'el
to write against the prevailing rule with an alef, such as: E.g. ܡαμμαμμαμαμαμαμαμαμαματεμαμαμαμαμαματιμαματιμαμέριεμαμερεμαμιεμέμέμαμέρειεμα
ܡαμμαμαμαμαμαμαμαμαμαμαμαμαμαμα. — Syriac script → West Syriac (Serto) — paper — An anthology of monastic literature, larger and smaller writings by Athanasius
