The name of a previous owner is on f. 1a. — cardboard volume with leather spine — good, Turkish — Arabic script → Nastaʽlīq — paper — the Persian Dīwān of Sulṭān Salīm I (r. 918/1512-926/1520), which is in his
Poems partly called Salīm, partly Salīmī. It begins with three ġazal poems on "ى-"; This is followed (f. 2b) by a Tarkīb volume
with the beginning: "خورشید عکس آینۀ روی مصطفی است//پیوند هر دو کون بیک موی مصطفی است"; Finally, on f. 4a the actual ġazal collection begins, in the usual manner
arranged alphabetically according to the rhyming letters. Both f. 1a and f. verso of the last sheet are pasted over with paper.
