| Notes | paper — Rāmagītā, the fifth chapter in the Uttarakāṇḍa of the Adhyātmarāmāyaṇa, in 62 verses, with Comment. Rāma teaches his brother Lakṣmaṇa that salvation is not in activity but in the Brahman that is inseparable from matter and can be found in the conviction that the individual soul and the supreme deity (i.e. Rāma as Viṣṇu) are one. The commentary written in the margin was written according to Aufrecht in 1603. This must be an error, as the manuscript was only written in 1685 was written. The other possibility is that the handwriting came earlier than specified was written. |
