Notes Mahārṇavakarmavipāka, which resulted from bad deeds in a previous existence Illnesses, their atonement through prayers and gifts. Written by Viśveśvara Bhaṭṭa, a son of Peṭṭibhaṭṭa, but his patron Māndhātṛ, a son of Madanapāla, attributed. According to Catalog of the India Office No. 1763, the work consisted of 40 Chapters (Taraṅga). The current manuscript contains the first 22 Taraṅga and part of 23. The first seven chapters contain the introduction. The most common Works cited are Karmavipākasaṃgraha, Karmavipākasamuccaya, Karmavipākasāra and Śātātapa's Karmavipāka. For further details on the manuscript see the Aufrecht 1901 catalog, pp. 170-171. Based on an Aufrecht copy from around 1680.
